When using AIM to import the only naming conventions available are based on the filename of the imported PDF. This means having to manually label each page with its proper print number. Often the PDF’s page labels are already set to the print number, if they are not it is trivial to use a program like Bluebeam to set them as such. If AIM were able to read page labels for imports it would remove a lot of tedious repetitive work in naming the sheets. While it is possible that a PDF could have non-standard page labels most of the files I have seen abide by the specifications provided by adobe. It would be nice at the very least to support this page labeling scheme.
