Summary deviations

I have a building which requires pricing for a customer that will be selecting one or up to four phases to an additions they are proposing. Phase A (for example) is a 210'x140' addition, phase B adds another 45' to the addition etc up to 400'x210'. I have take this project off by level/install code and building # which I have called Phase A, phase B, C & D.  When summarizing I have summarized by Combined for the purpose of making individual line item adjustments in both material and labor columns. For ease I would like to be able to make these adjustments one time in the combined summary and have these adjustment then be carried over to the balance of the summaries when updating all summaries at one time.  Otherwise  I have to go to each additional summary and make all the labor adjustments over again. The material adjustments do carry over just not the labor.  I really can't think of a reason that this was not programmed the same as the material column was.

The labor works the same as the material in the Estimate Pricing File (Green Book)

Hi Karl. If I have takeoff complete and have summarized and them make an adjustment in the labor adjustment column and then discover I forgot something in takeoff and close the summary to add it to the take off all adjustments to the labor go back to 1 when updated. This is what I don’t understand. And this was done in combined summary.

    Thanks,

The Estimate Pricing File (Green Book) does carry the Labor changes over to the other reports when updated.  If you make the change in the "Combined All - Estimate File Pricing" report the Green book is updated automatically on Save.   You can make the changes to the labor within a report and select the Green book to update the Estimate Pricing File which then can be applied to other reports.
