Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
Currently the Drag/Drop Option does not allow you to take a multiple page PDF and split them out into multiple pages without continually changing the name of each. This scenario is easily demonstrated by attaching files to the Employee Binder.
Example:
All Personnel Documents are scanned into a single PDF document. When opening up the document in A.I.M. the first four pages (Employee Application) are selected and dragged over to the Employee Binder. The 5th page, (W4 Information) is selected and dragged to the Employee Binder. Without the Auto Increment Numbering option available as part of the Merge Options, the W4 file replaces the Application File.
This can be fixed/avoided by entering an alternative File Name for each individual group you choose to Drag/Drop, however that is essentially no different then scanning and naming each item individually which defeats the purpose of A.I.M.
The time saved by having the automatic incremental numbering option for merged documents, both for attaching Employee Information to Binders, as well as AP/Invoicing documentation would be substantial.
