Currently estimation recognizes a total of 50 section which accumulate grand totals. Please, in a future release if at all possible allow the levels --for us the one we identified as (Systems) to also calculated their material and labor Grand total, just like the section can. So that we and other users have 500 breakouts not just 50 that we can pull and present for review on the front recap sheet. This would allow greater flexibility and also allow the user to stay in one section if he chooses, to do his takeoff.   The System level will be used to breakout his job. in the network version switching section is very slow and the estimator complain it takes too much time. this slowness would be eliminated with this change, this would also speed up the process of deleting items because now it won't have to open several section to go find the items in different section for deleting and then having to reselect the items for deleting because it drops them once the section is opened. Copy and paste will also be utilized even more. because the takeoff will be copied and pasted, all to the same section. currently copy and paste, copies various systems if selected by the estimator (which they do) to their last active section. For us and others having to do larger breakouts using the sections to identify specific project Area (Common, amenities, apartments, clubhouse, Main Water distribution building to name some examples) the estimator could essentially combine several takeoff Systems by way of levels to track and speed up the takeoff process. But the way Estimation is currently structured, the Systems(Level) or any other level don't carry their individual total for us to move to the recap sheet. hopefully some consideration and review will be giving to this suggesting for a future release.
