Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
Please give us back the option to apply to retainage that has not been released. We were able to do this in previous versions of this software and would like it back. Our customers often pay portions of retainage before we have released it and having to put this on account is ridiculous!
A. You cannot track where the on account payment was supposed to be applied
B. Customers think they have a lot of credits due to the on account amounts shown on their customer statements
C. If our customers can pay partial retainage why can't we apply the payment? We ultimately have the right to allocate payments wherever we choose. Why this was taken away baffles me!
