This applies to both AP and AR. I'm not sure of the logic in auto-filling the Sort Name field from the filled in (or modified) Name field. Unless we're doing it wrong or don't understand the purpose of the Sort Name field, when we fill in a name (i.e. Ricky Hallmark), the program auto-fills the Sort Name field with "RICKY HALLMARK". A sort field would normally be last name first so we delete the auto-fill and type the Sort Name manually.
The most irksome part of this auto-fill "feature" is that when we have manually entered a flipped Sort Name ourselves to "HALLMARK RICKY" and we later need to correct the existing Name to, say, "Richard Hallmark", ProContractor once again auto-fills the Sort Name with "RICHARD HALLMARK" and negates what I think the purpose of the Sort Field is. The optimum would be if the program could "flip" the Name field into the Sort Name field but I can understand the complexity of an algorithm that could do that. If ProContractor can't take a stab at doing that, I wish it would just leave it alone.
