Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
The recently released Miscellaneous Receipts functionality could use a little tweaking. Specific Issues:
1. Job-cost reporting issue: When posting an intercompany receipt (cash deposit to bank account under company 01, crediting a project under company 02) the job-cost report is now split into separate sections and additional pages by company ID, and includes a new section of the project cost report containing only those entries posted through the Misc Receipts module under company 01. Our old method of an intercompany journal entry does not create this unwanted appendage to the 02 jobcost report - it appropriately posts the credit side of the entry under the correct company associated with the credit line in the inter-company journal entry. We've reverted to general journal entries for misc cash receipts upon discovery of this reporting issue.
2. Integrate functionality with AR cash receipts and enable posting of revenue adjustments to a project that final pays with the need for a reconciling entry to zero-out.
