Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
If we receive an invoice related to a subcontract that has not yet moved to approved status and it is not visible, the invoice may be distributed in error. This causes overstated expenses as once the subcontract is approved we have committed costs that have not been relieved and will never be relieved as it has already been invoiced. Having to correct this is very messy. Being able to view that one does exist, even you are unable to post at that point would be extremely helpful and efficient.

this should also include Purchase orders. I tend to forget that there is not a single source to view both subcontracts and purchase orders.
Michael- I just want to be able to see that it exists so I don't enter the invoice.

Are you just wanting to see the unapproved Subcontract so you know not to enter the invoice or are you wanting to still enter the invoice against the subcontract?
