Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
I'd be interested to know who would be willing to switch to another accounting program solely because of the lack of a customizable reporting function in ProContractor. I know I would. No normal accounting person can use an archaic function like Microsoft Report Builder, and we're too busy doing accounting work that we don't have time to learn it. And I would pay tens of thousands of dollars if I could find someone that could do it. But it's ridiculous that I would have to look outside of the program to get what I need from the program. We spend so much time and effort entering information into this program, and cannot get decent reports to get information out of it. And exporting the report to excel doesn't help much when so there's so much work that has to be done to the report to make it usable. What genius decided that it would be a good idea to merge the dollar amount fields anyway? And the number fields are classified as text?

I have literally said this from the beginning. We are paying a high price for this software, but have to pay for some common sense reports that other system use daily. Having to export to excel and customize is not the best use of my time.
