SB 95 requires that the new COVID sick pay that becomes effective 3/29/21 in California, be differentiated on the employees check stub from regular sick pay. We need to have a new earning type in the program to accommodate this, as it is the earning type that shows on the pay stub. Alternately, if we could elect to have the PTO code or name show on the check stub instead of the earning type, that would work as well. Unfortunately the state of California has only given us until March 29, 2021 to make this happen.
