Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
In the catalog, provide a report or search capability that could identify all list assemblies that contain a specific item. This would allow the lead estimator to clean up duplicate items that have been added to the catalog by different estimators. It frequently happens that different list assemblies can contain items that are actually the same, but have different reference numbers because they were added by different estimators in the past. When the items are sent to the estimate, updating the cost of one item only updates items with the same reference number, even though the estimator may think that all such items have been updated.
