It would be really great if you could click "save and continue" instead of having to click save, have the program close out of whatever you're setting up, and then re-open it to continue setting it up. I've setup projects before that required about an hour to setup, the system crashed, and I lost all my work, to avoid that, I save my changes throughout the setup process, but it's really annoying to have to re-open every time I want to save my changes. This feature would also be nice in pretty much everything I do in the program ie. setting up vendors, entering invoices, setting up customers, etc....

Nearly 6 years old. Oftentimes, we don't want the window to close out, we just want to save the progress made so far. For many screens, this is just one more option to have in the bottom right hand corner. "Save & Continue", "Save & Close"
A "Save and Continue" function would also be helpful for Vendor, Customer, Prospect setup. Currently the parent record must be saved before a contact can be attached. "Save and Continue" would allow the record to be saved and then add the contacts without having to re-launch the parent record or move to the Contact setup entry.
Please. This seems like a basic function that should have been integrated from the beginning. No other computer "Save" function in the world closes whatever you are working on after clicking save. That's what the "Close" button is for.
Yes. I don’t even know why this would need further justification.

This option is available in the Vista software so why wouldn't you create this for your ProContractor users?
It is especially tedious and time consuming when you have a job with 500 changes. Everything takes forever to come up as it is........
This would be especially handy when trying to print forms. For example, to print a change order, you need to click save before the PDF is created. When viewing the PDF (since there is no preview option) if you notice an error, you need to open the change order back up, modify, save again, review again... Very tedious process.

Yes please! It's so frustrating to have to input the information, save and have to bring it up again if you thought of something right after you save. I know the F5 function is supposed to help, but it would be so much easier to not have whatever you are working on disappear when you only have to bring it up again.
