As of Version 4.0, ProContractor sends the Employee profile "Company email address" to Aatrix for W-2's. However, paychecks are emailed to the "Personal Email Address" and most employees do not have a company email address. Generally, only office employees and supervisors have a Company email address.
If the "Personal Email Address" is blank then it should default to use the "Company Email Address" in the Employee profile for the following reasons:
Paychecks are sent to the "Personal E-mail Address"
Employees can access W-2's hosted online for other employers when using the same email address
Terminated employees would no longer have access to their company email account
Editing the Employee email address is not an option in Aatrix as it does not show in the grid
Employers would have to add the personal email address to company email address field which would then have the incorrect company email listed
Employers would have to contact Aatrix to make edits
