As time goes on and the databases become larger (particularly when files and documents are embedded into ProContractor), the server upgrade time increases. Currently, it takes 3 hours for the server upgrade installer to complete the MaxAppDB .bak creation and then install the scripts and upload the reports (and if MaxDemoDB is there, then it's a 5-6 hour process). Since we ALWAYS run multiple backups of the server's data daily (scheduled Windows server images and SQL maintenance plans that create .bak), it would be nice to have an option to bypass the backup performed by the installer, since in our case it's redundant and unnecessary. Either via a a checkbox option in the install wizard, or if you're concerned novice users would accidentally bypass when not desired...perhaps a command-line option to bypass. Thanks for considering this added functionality.
