Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
Currently, when you update the contact information in either Contacts or Employee Setup, the change links to the other so they are always the same. This is bad because we don't want all users to see the home address and phone numbers for our employees. We would like to have home addresses in the Employee Setup and their work location for their Contact details.

Also, it is illegal to have employee personal information available to people who are not authorized to see it. I see this as a huge liability issue, especially with the mobile app.
This does not do what we are trying to do. We do not want the home address in Contacts. Also, but having work location in Main Address, then that is what shows up in the Employee Setup. We want their home address in the Employee records.
Or how about leaving the Employee's Main Address update the Contact Record's Home Address? Do not place the Employee's Main Address in the Contact's Main Address. In this way, the Main Address on the Contact Record could be their Work Location.
