Need prior period ending balance on Account Transactions Report

I come from American Contractor. I am used to running a general ledger account detail report where I can see the prior period balance of the account, then transactions for the range of dates I selected, and then the total debits and credits at the bottom.

Currently, in PCMX 3.5.1, it does not show the prior period balance.

For example, I review office supplies for the month of February. I want to see the ending balance of January, let's say $600.00 as of 1/31/xx and then the detail for the range I selected. I would then see at the bottom of the report the totals. 

This works in American Contractor because they use the months as report criteria. So I can select the GL report for March, and I will see the ending balance for February, transactions, and then the ending balance for March. 

As it stands, we don't see the ending balance of the prior period. I would like an option for this.
