After running calculate taxes and deductions the software will automatically add fraction of cents to random employees hourly rates that are fixed amounts and there is no way to override. Please create a fix so the software will not adjust the hourly rates that are set up for employees.

Where fractional hours are worked (usually Overtime), the hourly pay rates (shown on the Payroll Hours and Earnings Report) are extended out to 5 decimal points, and with no apparent consistency. For example, the same employee, on the same project, might work .25 or .50 hours of overtime on different days, and the hourly rate will be different for each line/day (the 5 decimal points very). This causes the amount calculated and paid for that day/project to vary, and oftentimes, will actually be below Prevailing Wage, This also affects the Certified Payroll Report. I did open a Case with Viewpoint, and was told the only way to fix this is to run the Payroll Hours and Earnings Report to check the hourly wage rates, and where necessary, to go back into the Timecard and manually correct the rate so it calculates at or above Prevailing. We are in California, and we upload our CPRs to the DIR website, via LCP Certified, who flagged the error for me in the first place. Otherwise, we could have been penalized by the DIR for paying below prevailing wage. I'm not sure why PC has to extend the rate to 5 decimal points, since it didn't happen in AC, but this is a big concern for us and takes extra time.
