Add paid time off to either the Union or Pay Class. As of 7/1/15, California employer must start accruing sick pay for all employees under a Collective Bargaining Agreement, which went into effect after 1/1/15, and do no "expressly waive the requirements [of Assembly Bill 1522] in clear and unambiguous terms."
We have 2 unions that would require us to accrue PTO for Sick Days. As CBA's expire this number will quickly climb. Currently, the accrual would only apply to work being performed within the unions. Once the employee enters another jurisdiction, the accrual would stop.
Please add the PTO to either Union Setup, or the Pay Class Set Up.

Thank you for providing the information. Would you be able to either provide the unions who are changing their collective bargaining agreements or perhaps the section of that agreement that states the requirements for tracking of paid sick leave. It would be appreciated as we research this further for consideration.
