In the Cost Code screen we would like to assign the vendor to the code so that the Subcontract or PO would be automatically created from this information. The amount of the budget would become the committed cost of the Subcontract or PO. This is to eliminate entering the cost/budget twice. For example I manage 53 Lots (projects), use the same subs and have to enter 35 cost codes under the budget and 35 costs under the Subcontract, in order to use Pro Contractor efficiently. American Contractor allowed the contract/budget & committed costs to be entered in one screen. SOLUTION to not enter the information twice. Pre-set defaults within the Vendor Record for standard subcontract information could capture the data, i.e. Subcontractor tab under Compliance.
