It would be nice to be able to lock a Payroll cycle so that no more time can be entered after the cycle is locked unless it has been approved and the Payroll department is aware of it. We've run into too many issues of being balanced when we leave work on Monday night and then out of balance on Tuesday morning because someone entered time after the cutoff and we weren't made aware. We've also had this happen in the middle of Payroll when someone tries to get their time in at the last minute without saying anything and all of a sudden the reports are no longer in balance. This is usually if someone has entered some of their time but not all of it. You are able to calculate on the original amount but if you run another report, the newly entered time and the original time will not show up because you have to recalculate to get any of it to show up in reporting.
