I just want to quickly look at data and be able to slice and dice then dump the worksheet. Usually when I need to export something it is because the system/report is not giving me the data in a format that is in a useful. I want to quickly group sets of data together do my calculations and move on. This means that I need to export the data to excel.
It is a total pain to have to export a sheet and not have it open up automatically, not to mention you need to rename it because the prepopulated file name is the report name not the project or date run then go find the file....
If you can't get the data to auto populate an excel sheet and then let me decide whether I want to save it, have the saved file open up automatically so I don't have to go find it.

I agree. Why make you save file and you may never need again. Much simpler to open and let you decide if you want to save the data.
