I have figured out how to use the View Financial Transactions, it is a very good tool to gather grid style data to help reconcile reporting. I would prefer if the selection criteria was not so limiting. Currently, a user can only select a certain month. I would like to have more control over a date range. For example, in the view account balances section, let's say I'd like to gather grid data for year to date expense transactions by project, this info is not available unless I select each month individually and save each month in an excel file and then copy and paste all of the data together. This is cumbersome. Some cookie cutter filters would be nice for example: YTD, Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4. But to be able to set date ranges would be even better, then I could get grid style reports by individual projects and then I could do project date filters at the GL level.
Also, the ability to select multiple GL accounts to be included in the Grid would be nice. Let's say I'd like to get data in only GL account 6000 to 6900 because that is where all of my equipment transactions are recorded, it would be nice to just select the GL accounts I want to view rather than having to swim through different grid filters.
