Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
I use PC (Project Connect) DAILY.......but I am so disappointed because it could be so much more helpful!!
This is my go to place (with almost 200 jobs a year) to get information about my jobs, billing, customer payments, vendor payments, binder items, all in one place........or so that would be the best concept ever. It is only a starting point, unfortunately!
If I need to know about customer payments - I go to PC - If I see that some money has been received - I have to leave and run a Customer Receipt History report - I need to know when, how, and the check #.
If I want to know about my vendor about payments on a job - I go to PC - I can only see Open Invoices - but I can't give them information on paid invoices without running a Vendor Invoice or Payment History report to find out when and how invoices were paid.
This would be great if it would show the Paid information!!!!
AND if you could Run the Project Profitability, Cost and Billing Detail Report, Open Vendor Invoices by Project from this screen with links that took you to those reports.....it's not lazy, it's just smart, helpful, and much faster! - Time is money and anything to help cut down overtime!!

Agreed again. There are many requests for improving Project Connect.
I have attached two PC screen shots vs. two AC screen shots for reviewing contract billing lines, budget lines, and change order lines. Project Connect is way to combersome to get this data. We need simple list type data for billing, budgets, and change orders. They way it is for these items is really not usable IMO.
