Allow you to make changes to an employee while entering time sheets.

There are many times, when I need to verify information on an employee while entering time.  It is stupid that you have to close the enter time function, open the employee make a change or just verify something, close the employee and then go back and enter the time card.  You need to be able to make changes on the fly.

  Over 5 years old. Yes, it is very frustrating when you are working in a timecard and decide to go review an employee file and it won't open. I'm fine with giving me a warning saying "Employee open in timecard, be sure to calculate taxes and deductions to recognize these changes". When it won't let you open, that's beyond frustrating.

  Not everyone has dual monitors, so it needs to be that you can have both open at the same time on one monitor.

  The issue is if one person is inputting a timecard you can’t go into that employee setup record and visa versa. If you are in the employee setup record you can’t input a timecard.

  Would the ability to have the Setup Employees tab available as a separate window/screen (using dual monitors) help solve this? One screen enter time, the other screen Setup Employees?
