View/Select Multiple Invoices in "View Vendor Transactions" & "View Vendor Invoice Log"

It would be extremely beneficial to be able to actually SELECT the specific invoices you need to view in these two on screen reports. For example, filtering to a specific vendor and there are 25 invoices listed but I only wanted to see invoice 1, 4, 5 and 7. There are no filtering options such as a "," or "&" or the fact that if I type those specific numbers "1,4,5,7" that it wouldn't recognize that I'm searching for specifically those invoices. When comparing invoices - totals included - it makes a very useful analysis tool.

I've been told on the chat feature to export it to Excel then continue my filter there - but why would I perform several extra steps OUTSIDE of PCMX to perform a function that theoretically PCMX should be able to do?

Agreed. PC should be able to do this w/o exporting to Excel! They should include filter options like you pointed out or provide a check mark option to select the invoices to view.

When I was starting the transition to PC from AC, the person helping set up our Sales Tax codes assured me that she could set up the codes so that the reports produced would eliminate my need with AC to export the data to Excel in order to get the information for paying and filing our CA sales tax returns. She made me to believe that it would almost never be necessary to export PC data to Excel for anything. She spent a lot of time (too much of my allotted transition time) trying to do this but still failed and to this day I am still exporting that data to Excel. I have found that I export much, much more data to Excel than I ever did in AC and, unfortunately, the "export to Excel" feature does not really parse the data or put it in a usable table format (records X fields). This makes it very time consuming to reformat the exported data into a useable form. I've been able to develop a few macros that makes some of it easier but (as I have suggested here before) it needs a major change to how it is exported. I also agree with the filtering improvement suggestion made here.

Lance,  that is the standard response.  Export to excel.  They don't seem to understand that we don't want to have to export data and that we should be able to look for specific things within the program.
