Fringe Benefits with % calculation method (% of Gross) do not include the Prevailing Wage 'Pay' as part of Gross Pay in the calculation of the Fringe. Example: 401k is 3% of Gross Pay. Pay is from Compensation Package with Pay Rate of $20 and Fringe Rate of $5 with the Fringe Shortfall set to Pay. So the hourly pay is $25. When the 401k is calculated it is only being calculated on the $20, not the $5, even though the Gross Pay states $25 and is used as such in the time card line and totals.
