Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
Currently all approved invoices in Approve Vendor Invoices are automatically set to Open status. This is not always the case however. The invoice can be approved, but there could be a Compliance Hold keeping the invoice from being paid.
The approver should still be able to approve the invoice and the invoice should be sent to either Open, or Hold. This should be an additional data entry on Enter Vendor Invoice.
Example:
Invoice Status:Open,Pending Approval,Pay, Manual Payment
Approved Invoice Status: Open/Hold

This would be a huge help as it has legality issues as well. When you're required to pay a sub within a certain amount of days, but can withhold payment or taxes if they don't have a W9 on file.
