The 40 character business entity and address fields are way too short, and inconsistent with the 1099 and T5018 name and address fields (which are 52, 52 and 81, 40 respectively). In many cases, we cannot fit the full legal name of customers and vendors into the business entity Name field and therefore must use the address lines for the overflow. This then creates problems when generating the 1099 and T5018, as the overflow line of the subcontractor name is duplicated in lines 2 and 3 (i.e. Corporate Name 2 under the Vendor Compensation Reporting section of the Vendor setup form on line 2 is duplicated by the subcontractor's first address line, which is the name overflow, on line 3. This creates additional manual effort when when generating 1099s and T5108s, as these conditions must first be found and then corrected in the Edit Vendor Compensation Forms screen.
