When you hit the "X" in the top right hand corner, ask if you really want to close ProContractor!!! Instead, if you accidentally click it, or double click an excel file you already have open, and ProContractor is behind it, ProContractor automatically closes...

If you have another window open, i.e. Internet Explorer browser and you double click instead of single click and you have ProContractor open behind it, then ProContractor closes without asking you if you really want to close ProContractor.
