We need easy access to employee lists without having to format the View Employee Setups function. Same for Vendors, Clients and Equipment
Employees>Reports>Current Employee List
The "View _____ Setups" function (under each Module > Setups) can provide a solution. Once you are in this screen you can create different lists and share with other users. For Example, go to Employees > Setup > "View Employss Setups" then select View = Employees and click Retrive. Once the "Grid" appears, you can use the "Field Chooser" or click and drag to remove columns. No need to export to excel to delete columns. To save the report to use it at a later time, use the "Grid Settings". For detailed directions, please see knowledge-based article named "View a list or report of Employee names with SSN , Birth date , Hire Date , Termination Date , Employment Status , Address , etc"
It would be even better to allow us to have the ability to select what we need. Basically, I would like to be able to select the items from the View Employee Grid and print into a report that is ACTUALLY USABLE AND PRINTS ON ONE PAGE ACROSS. EXPORTING TO EXCEL IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!! Depending on what information I need I might have 3 or 4 different reports.
First it would be great to just be able to print out the current list of employees with no other information. Then it would be great if you could choose to add Social Security Number, Date of Hire, or Current Rate of Pay with Effective date. Those are the details we need most often.
