Grids should be like launching pads

I am new to ProContractor and am frustrated by the amount of time spent to find a place where I can find a transaction and look at where it is coded.  It would be nice to have Grids to use that will take me to wherever I need to go.  I've been on other programs that look like they have the same underlying platform, but are much further along for navigation.

A Grid should be the launching pad that holds all of the information in the table, and double-clicking on the item listed in the Grid should allow the user to drill-down to the transaction.  Users should be able to start with a Grid for Customers, Vendors, Employees, Projects, etc.

When a user has the Customer Grid up, it should be a list all of the Customers, with columns for all of the fields on the Customer Table, that can be sorted and filtered at the top as they choose.  When the user double-clicks on the Customer, it should bring up another tab with all of the transactions for that customer.  When the user double-clicks on one of the transactions, another tab should open up to a screen showing the transaction as it was entered.

When a user has the Employee Grid up, it should be a list of all of the Employees, with columns for all of the fields on the Employee table, that can be re-arranged, sorted and filtered at the top as they choose.  When they double-click on an Employee, it should take them to a new tab with a grid of all of the transactions for that Employee, and when they double-click on one of the transactions, it should take them to a new tab showing the transaction as it was entered.

When a user has the Vendor Grid up, it should be a list of all of the Vendors, with columns for all of the fields on the Vendor Table, that can be sorted and filtered at the top as they choose.  When they double-click on a Vendor, it should take them to a new tab with a grid of all of the transactions for that vendor, and when they double-click on one of the transactions, it should take them to a new tab and on the screen they should be able to see that transaction as it was entered.

Project Grid should be a list of all Projects with columns from the Project Table that can be sorted and filtered as the user chooses.  When the user clicks on one of the Projects, it should take them to the Project setup to see all of the detail as it was entered.
