I would like to be able to enter the contract amount for a project from the setup screen instead of having to wait to do it in the billing setup. Sometimes I need the contract and cost before I decide what type of billing format the project is going to be.

I agree it would also be nice if that amount showed up on the project status report currently if i have a time and material project that has a NTE amount i have to enter it as a t/m and contract under billing so the amount shows on y reports
I agree. This is helpful and sometimes the project managers enter incorrect amounts via data entry errors, would be a great way to double check contract amount before having to get the actual contract from the file.
