It has just become evident to us that the wages and additioanl pay go into effect based on the check date and fringes & deductions become effective based off of date worked

Majority of union wages and fringes become effective on the same date. We are having to do a work around (per tech support) to make sure our payroll is accurate. BOTH Fringes and wages need to be effective on the same date and should BOTH be based off of date worked, NOT check date.  Both should be based off of the Pay Period. Example: wages and fringes effective date set as 6/25/18, check date 6/28/18, which paid for 6/18-6/22, unfortunately our payroll was incorrect because the fringes were updated based on the check date, wage rates were correct because according to Viewpoint the are pulled from date worked.
