In North Carolina you are required to show how many employees were paid on the 12th of each month. Since all the check data is in the system it should be easy for it to compute how many employees were paid each 12th of the month based on you earning register. Currently I have to go back and manually add each month as our employee could can fluctuate due to vacations, etc.

Ione, While I understand what you are saying, this another example of having to do double the work. You shouldn't have to run 2 reports to get the information you need. This is yet again another example of not getting what we need from Viewpoint. So totally disappointed in this software. It is way worse the Managment Suite.
Gayle, this data is available already. When you run the state unemployment tax report by month, the last selection field is titled "Day for Employee Count". You enter a date. I believe the default is already 12, but you have the option to choose any date between 1 & 31. In the very lower right corner, at the bottom of the column titled Credit Weeks, there is a field called Emp Count and it has the number of employees who worked on the date you select. However, on the quarterly report, it does not show you that month 1 had so many employees, month 2 had so many employees and month 3 had so many employees. It just drops a number there that is the total of the 3 individual monthly reports. So...the system does provide the numbers you need but you have to go to the monthly reports to find it. It would be nice if as part of the reporting for the quarter it showed that count by montyh.
