I have left over materials that come back to our warehouse from a job. I need to credit the cost to the job and debit the cost to the warehouse. Later, I will take these materials out of the warehouse and send to a new job. Thereby crediting the cost to the warehouse and debiting the job. We do not keep or maintain inventory. We currently just to a Journal Entry to move the cost but thought it would be so much easier if we could just use the warehouse transfer feature and use a profit center.....
