Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
When importing plans into pro contractor in a hosted environment, the majority of the processing seems to be taking place via the internet. This process means that a 60 page DWF can take up to 30+ minutes to import.
Selected plans (DWF, PDF, etc.) should be temporarily copied to a folder located in the Pro Contractor system directory and imported/re-imaged from there. AIM seems to already accomplish this but Pro Contractor should natively support this.
This will help reduce the substantial wait times experienced when importing DWF's and opting out of AIM for PDF's.
