Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
(Similar to my suggestion on Column Views) Filters are also used on a daily basis and with hundreds of projects bid each year, forcing users to create the same filters for each and every single estimate all over again is too much of a frustration as well as a great loss of time.
What is needed is a default list of company standard or global filters that can be set up at an administration level and easily available first. When users create custom filters to their own personal preference, they should be saved at that specific user's work station and saved for every estimate they create. Custom filters created by individual users should not be saved for all users in the system as there is no need to require everyone to scroll though a long list of everyone else's personal views that may never be used.
