More often than not, when I am building an assembly I need to change the quantity of the inserted item from from the default "1". Especially on "Bid Items" which will require separate take offs. I usually just leave the main assembly at a "0" quantity until I get all of my items inserted, then (If I remember) I will enter the correct quantity on the assembly, and then continue my take off starting with "0" quantities for the members. If I do not start the assembly off with a "0" quantity, I then need to go to each inserted item and manually enter a "0" for the member's quantities, before I start my take off. It would be nice if the members came in automatically at a "0" quantity. Especially when I have take off started and then realize that i need to insert another item or items. Obviously you could use the "Replace" function on the take off, but then you need to remember which items actually have a quantity of "1" and which ones you haven't used yet. I figure 99% of the time you are going to need to change the quantity of the members anyhow, so having them inserted with a quantity of "1" doesn't really help with anything, it just creates additional steps when wanting to use the Take Off screen.
