Add a Revision Feature for keeping track of requested changes after submitting our Bid.

We are a commercial tenant improvement general contractor.  On the majority of the Bids we submit to our clients, we are asked to make revisions.  Many times, it's part of a Value Engineering process (exercise to massage scope in order to bring the price down).  Sometimes it's to add scope.  Regardless of the reason, we need a way to keep a history of what has been priced and submitted at different stages of revisions.  We could revise the same project 10 times.  Right now, we've created a system where we "Save As" the original estimate, creating a copy of the original.  Then we create a new Bid for the revised estimate.  We can copy the Bid detail from the original to the revision we're working on.  There should be an easier way to do this.  

I would suggest a "Create Revision" button in the Bid module.  This button would create a full and complete copy of the Estimate and Bid that you currently have open and ask you to append the Bid Reference # and Bid Name with a revision # (i.e. R1 or Revision 1, etc.).  The estimator could then work in the new version and quickly make changes, print a Bid Proposal and submit to our client.  When the client is making their final decision on what scope to go to contract with, they could pick which version they want and we would be able to pull up that version and create the Project Manager's Worksheet straight from there.

I can't stress enough how often this happens and how cumbersome the work around is creates extra work and opportunities to make mistakes.  Please consider this quickly.
