Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
When column views are changed, users typically utilize specific filters for the various column views. The request is to provide an option to add a default filter to column views that are created and saved. This would allow users to select the desired column view and the default filter would already be applied, saving repetitive steps. If they want to change the filter, the option would still be available. This would remove the added process of always having to change the filters when going to and from certain column views.
On any given bid day scenario we regularly switch between full detail column views with a filter of all the takeoff items to a simplified column view with a filter for subcontractor and material quotes. Every time we want to go between the views the added steps of re-selecting the filters becomes a nuisance and time consuming.
Another option could be for the system to remember or keep the applied filter for the various column views, This would also be a time saver.
