When setting the scale of a drawing using the compensate method, ProC asks for the length you want to use to set the scale... as a decimal.
Every drawing in the United States that I have ever looked at shows length in Feet and Inches, such as 109'-2", yet ProC wants that number in a decimal format which means I have to stop using the computer, turn to my calculator, do the simple math equation, and then enter the correct number back into ProC. A simple set of steps, but there shouldn't be any steps since I'm using a computer and a sophisticated piece of software that could easily do the conversation for me if it let me enter the number as a fraction.
Maybe I am missing something that would change that for me already, and I know it seems like such a simple little thing, but the computer is a massive calculator, and I feel like ProC should be able to handle this simple conversion so that I'm not constantly turning to my calculator to figure out the inches as a decimal.
Even the free to use VU360 take off program from The Blue Book lets you enter a fraction when setting scale.
