Too often, our project plans do not provide a specific invert elevation for pipe lines; esp. for water, which often only needs to be 3' under finished grade. In this instance, it would be helpful to know what the proposed grade is for any given coordinate, so we could simply deduct 3 feet from that elevation. Within the trench tab, I would suggest a new button at the top that we could click, and then click anywhere on the plans, and have the proposed grade (that we entered in the takeoff tab) be returned in a (copyable) text box at the top of the screen. The workaround we've had to use in the meantime is to open the section tab, and try to guesstimate the elevation every 10 feet or so, which is very inaccurate and takes forever.
