I currently use three monitors but only one can be used for PCMX. I would like to move the Manage earthwork window to the left monitor and Manage estimate on the middle monitor.

Description
On a similar note, it wouid be extremely useful to be able to open the estimating drawing window on a separate monitor, so you can see what you need to import from the catalog. Opening multiple instances of the estimate is not helpful because each instance consumes one license.
When we had Maxwell Management Suites we could open several screens and drag the screen to our other monitor. It would be very helpful while in PCMX to drag the tabs to another monitor.

Mike, just be clear on your suggestion of an instance, we can sign into ProContractor twice using separate windows/monitors on the same computer, with the same user credentials and only use one license?
This would be AWESOME if it also worked for those on Viewpoint Cloud using PCMX
I thought it wasn’t recommended to open multiple instances on the PC. If it’s ok then I will do that.

Hi Jared,
Thanks for the Idea. You may already know this but with the 3.4 release you can open any Earthwork Summary window directly in the Estimate window by using the new Get EW button on the toolbar. You can then drag and drop the quantities directly into the estimate.
I agree that it would be nice to have both products on separate monitors to be able to see and manipulate at the same time. The only way to accomplish this today would be to open multiple instances of PC. We have many customers that are doing this today. It does not chew up any additional licenses.
