Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
We utilize a two digit numbering system for our folders in the catalog for organization and to be consistent with CSI codes. We have folders up to five levels deep and in order to keep each folder reference unique we use separators with two digits, as suggested by Rocky. So when we have a fifth level folder, the reference ends up being quite long ie: 09.01.01.01.10.
The suggestion is to provide the option to hide the reference field in the catalog view as they can be longer than the name of the folders themselves. Hiding the reference field would also provide for a cleaner, more streamline view of the catalog for all users and database managers.
