When updating an estimate, currently we have several of the same finical items for different areas of work. For example a project with (5) areas will have contingency in (5) times, one for each area. Typically the contingency is the same % across the entire project, so when it changes (10% to 7.5%) across the entire project we have to change it in (5) different areas, and it creates the opportunity for errors.

This is a good idea, I would hope it would work like it does for cost items and reach into alternates and change order.
