The enhancement request is to provide the ability to search and display cost item usage throughout the system. When modifying or even planning to delete a cost item, it important to users and especially administrators to know if and where a cost item is being used. Currently, cost items can be deleted in the catalog without any warning of them being used in ELAs or List Assemblies throughout the system. Under certain circumstances, when attempting to delete a cost item, a notification pops up to warn you that the cost item is being used elsewhere in the system however, it is not consistent and does not indicate any locations. The feature appears to exist to a limited extent and it would greatly benefit any user or administrator to expand on the feature to provide a detailed usage list for review and consideration in verifying, modifying or deleting cost items.
