In general , the alternate window should have same tools as the main estimate.
Especially, you should be able to copy an Alternate item line.

Please add this functionality. I write some very complicated alternates which would be much easier if I had the power of the same tools as the main estimate. Don't leave anything out, just make the alternate building functionality exactly the same as the regular estimate.
Create a job with alternates and then use that job as a template when creating a new job. All of your alternates will now be part of the new job.
I agree. My main comment is to have the ability to duplicate the Alternate or copy it to other estimates so that you do have to waste time recreating Alternates from scratch.
