Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
Many of our projects contain hundreds of drawings and the Sheets button on the Takeoff Tab is very limited and time consuming to use. While the new Sheets Tab is a great tool for a snapshot view, more organization and speedy access to drawings is required.
The request is to allow foldering capabilities similar to the catalog folders or any windows type file structure. We are used to organizing our drawings in folders for quick access to the desired drawing and/or drawing set. For example we create folders for Civil, Structural, Architectural and MEP's and can have sub folders as well, depending on the size of project. Without folders and coupled with a slow and limited scroll feature, it is too time consuming to navigate to a desired drawing.
The other part of the request if to provide a scrolling feature with the mouse wheel. Currently, the only way to scroll through a long list of drawings is using the very tiny arrows at the top and bottom of the list. When using the little arrows to scroll, it moves very slowly and makes the drawing navigation process take too long.
