Collaborate with Viewpoint and your peers by providing us with your input
Our foreman have IPADs that they use to enter DFR's every day. Within the DFR, they also enter the timecards for their crew at the end of every day. We have 10 crews with 6 to 15 employees/crew. Every day, the foreman has to scroll through 100 or so employees to select the guys that are on his crew. We do use the "Copy Timecard" feature but that only works if the crew is on the same job the prior day and we are frequently on several jobs each week so it has limited benefit. It is also very common for the crews to "loan" employees back and forth based on workload so we have to have all employees available for every foreman. Particularly, for the larger crews, it takes a loooooong time to scroll through and select the employees every single day - or sometimes more if they are on more than 1 job in a day.
It would a huge benefit if each foreman could be assigned a "default crew" that would show up in the employee timecard section of every DFR. The foreman would then populate the appropriate start/stop times and manually add/delete as needed within each DFR.
The foremen like the PC mobile but all of them ask me every time I see them - "can you get just my crew to come up automatically"
