Auto Log Out Employee if 1.They leave the GeoFence 2. If they clock into another Project

I think it would be of interest to look into Auto Log Outs for a couple reasons:

1. If an employee leaves the GeoFence - say they forget to clock out they get home see the notification, drive back and then clock out... there is no way for the office to know that is what they did and then you end up paying them for an hour of time that was not supposed to be paid. At the very least, the notification that is sent to the employee about leaving the GeoFence should also be sent to the Payroll person or who ever processes the time so they can follow up on it.

2. If an employee is clocked in to one Project and then they get sent to another, when they clock in to the new project, PC Mobile should automatically clock them out of the first Project they were in. This would minimize the amount of time clocking in/out and would fix the travel time issue between projects.

If an employee leaves the geofence their time should be stopped with a note that says “Employee left worksite, time stopped” or something of that nature. I think the reminders are good, but at the very least if they leave a site without clocking out the Payroll Admin should be notified, or who ever is monitoring time (If the below ideas do not become reality).

    Idea:
For the New project I would think, you would want the start time to match the stop time, but only if they didn’t clock out on their own between projects. If someone Manually clocks out that tells me they were doing nonwork related things.
Example: If I am working on Project123 then have to go to Project456 when I leave Project123 PC Mobile would auto clock me out then, when I get to Project456 and I hit go, it would know that I was traveling between project and my start would be the same as my Auto clock out for Project123
Example2: If I manually clock out of Project123 then go to Project456, but stop on the way to get lunch. My Start time for Project456 is the actual time because I MANUALLY Clocked OUT.

    Non-Geofence Idea:
If an employee is working on a project and clocks into another project, it would be nice if it would auto clock out the previous project… You cant be working on two things at once…

To me it makes the most sense to say if I am Clocking OUT then I am going to do something nonwork related, but it I am consistently clocking IN then my time should continue without a break in time.

Typically this would be the scenario for all employees, most of our vendors deliver to job sites, so it is very rare that any one should leave for any reason and still be on the clock. I think this would be an exception to a rule, but not something to limit making a rule.

When an employee is leaving the Geo Fence - should it automatically create the stop time or provide a warning?

If that employee moves into another projects geo fence - what is the start time? The time they came into the Geo fence or from when they left the previous geo fence?

Is this scenario applicable to all employees or are some employees leaving geo fence to run errands for the job, (get materials, etc)
